So, you’ve now created your smartphone app, congratulations on that! At least you would be hoping that your app will be a smash hit on the Google Play Store and App Store. So from a here, a  question arise that how to market your mobile app?

Considering all such points, you need to market your mobile app through social media channels and tunnel it in a way to get maximum downloads. There are several methodologies to go around the marketing of a mobile app, but we are taking five into consideration.

How to market an app successfully using powerful Video

Make sure to create an introductory video about your app, if it is a game a good trailer must be there. You can share this video on multiple platforms, such as YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to attract more audience.

Make sure the video should have energy, excitement, and enthusiasm and must contain a call to action. There are also paid tactics available on these social media platforms that will enable your video to tunnel to your audience.

Keep in mind to experiment with smaller budgets at first.

2) Content Marketing

Content marketing includes sharing write-ups in point-wise fashion, without making them boring to read. Adding and displaying images and videos, screen shots, screen capture videos and even artworks on social media platforms.

You can encourage the users to do the same; you can ask them to share their screenshots after they’ve crossed the particular barrier in you gaming app or to share their achievements in the dating app that you built.

There can be ‘n’ number of tasks that can be done depending on the app and customer base you want to make.

3) Building a fan base

Make sure to tune the frequency of your app with your social media page. Let say, if the app that you made is a game that contains informal messages, and is edgy, make sure not to post anything formal on social media. Try to connect with your fans.

Also be sure to leave your comments where other people are commenting, in response to their opinions and sayings. This is what each one of us forgets when we reach such heights.

Hold some contests to reward the fans. You can ask them to answer simple questions about the app, and in return, they get the reward. Not to spend a lot on such giveaways and make sure not to run any fake giveaway campaigns.

4) Available in ‘ONE CLICK.’

Make sure whatsoever you are providing must reach your customers with bare minimum efforts. Well, this doesn’t mean that you start automatizing your email system and start to spam them.

Make sure once the customer is on the landing page, he/she should only have to ‘click’ just one time to get the download and app installation completed.  Just for instance, if you are giving a download link to 3DS emulator, your landing page must be informative as well as to the point so that users can download it right away beside getting enough information!

Make sure to analyze your requirements with another app developer as a user, and employ those requirements into your app.

Also, too many distractions while the simple download and install part often leads into losing the interest in the app and the user might chicken out! Leaving you with some loss. Try to make everything interesting and intuitive.

5) Consistency and publicity

While posting stuff on making sure to take care about the consistency don’t stop, don’t slow down after you start. It is better to follow a scheduled routine once you’ve started posting on social media.

The continuous video, image, written content submissions will let the user gets to engage on a much-elevated level. Prefer the reposting of the same content after some time or days to re-engage your audience.

Make sure to ask your fans, to share your content as much as they can, but for this, you need to create the content with excellent quality. The content should be freshly brewed, don’t go ahead with copying someone else’s work.

As far as the publicity goes, reach out to publications, blogs, and influencers. Some blogs allow guest posting which can drive more traffic to your app’s social media pages and help you get more downloads in a very less time.

You can reach out to publications, ask their writers to publish your content somewhere in their submissions. You can also take help from the ads or social bookmark integration.

Conclusion on how to market your mobile app using social media

There are a lot of other social media channels like Reddit, Snapchat, and even Stumbleupon, but the key roles remain the same for you. You need to perform the above mentioned five tasks so that you can market your mobile app properly through these social media channels.
